NBA DFS – 11/6/2018

4 games on this Taco Tuesday slate.

ATL @ CHA (-11) o/u 234

ATL: Prince is doubtful for this one so Huerter, Bembry, and Poythress should get some extra run. The biggest usage bump goes to Bazemore here. I think they will probably start Huerter and leave Bembry off the bench. Len and Dedmon look locked in a timeshare for the foreseeable future, but are fairly cheap if you want to take a chance on one.

Tier 1: Bembry, Trae (GPP), Bazemore
Tier 2: Huerter, Lin
Tier 3: Poythress, Len, Dedmon

CHA: The blowout potential worries me a lot here. I’m going to say the same thing every time for whoever is playing the Hawks; Trae Young does not play defense. Kemba has huge usage and a great matchup, the only downside is the inflated price tag. In what is most likely a game that Kemba plays no more than 30 minutes in I’ll be turning to the bench instead.

Tier 1: Hernangomez, Miles Bridges
Tier 2: Kemba (GPP), Marvin
Tier 3:

WAS @ DAL (+1) o/u 226

WAS: Beal has been playing well recently and his price has actually came down. He is worth a look here in what looks to be a competitive game. Wall same boat as him. Wes Matthews and DSJ are good defenders, but I think Wall and Beal can still handle them. Porter is cheap and needs to be considered for the mere fact that he is only $5100. He sat last game after I listed him as a Tier 1 play and I may have to do the same again today.

Tier 1: Beal, Wall, Porter (GPP)
Tier 2: Rivers, Morris, Howard
Tier 3: Oubre

DAL: Doncic is questionable in this one so pay attention it word there. If he is out the Barnes and Dennis Smith are pretty much locks for me. Jordan gets to go against a banged up Dwight. Dwight is a good defender, but he also allows DJ to not have to venture too far out of the paint where he thrives. On this small slate it’s nice to build around a couple players that have solid floors, and DJ fits that.

Tier 1: DJ, DSJ
Tier 2: Barnes (Tier 1 if Doncic is out), Doncic, Barea
Tier 3: Matthews

BKN @ PHO (even) o/u 220

BKN: If Russell was guaranteed 30 minutes he would be my top play of this game. Unfortunately he is in a time share with Dinwiddie and more likely to get less than 25 minutes than he is to break 30. Joe Harris and LeVert have the highest chance to hit the 30 minute mark. LeVert at $7200 is a Tier 2 play, but he has been playing well and gets a good matchup with Booker. Allen is still cheap and in a decent spot once again against Ayton.

Tier 1: Allen, Russell (GPP)
Tier 2: LeVert, Davis, Dinwiddie, Harris
Tier 3: Crabbe, RHJ

PHO: Booker has shown a consistent floor this year and should keep it going against the Nets. He is still underpriced in my opinion even though he had a down game last one out. Ayton is a bit expensive to me, but he has a solid matchup and has been getting minutes regardless of the game script. Again solid floors here for them so I don’t mind building around them at all.

Tier 1: Booker, Ayton
Tier 2: Canaan, Ariza
Tier 3: Anderson

MIL @ POR (even) o/u 229

MIL: Bledsoe is my favorite play in this game. He is priced at $6300 only and gets to take on Lillard who will be more focused on the offensive end. Giannis is wayyyy up to $12600 in this one and is in auto fade range for me. I don’t see enough value here to make it worth squeezing him in. Middleton is fairly priced at 7k and I don’t mind him here. Aminu is their best defender and he will be on Giannis most the game. Layman and Turner are both defenders that Khris shouldn’t be too fazed from.

Tier 1: Bledsoe
Tier 2: Lopez, Middleton, Brogon, Ersan
Tier 3: Donte, Giannis (GPP)

POR: Lillard is in that too pricey range once again tonight for me. McCollum has a tough matchup versus Brogdon so I’ll most likely avoid him as well. Nurkic has a good history against the Bucks and is a good GPP candidate here. Zach Collins off the bench is intriguing to me. I could see him needing to try and help slow down Giannis.

Tier 1: Nurkic (GPP)
Tier 2: McCollum, Collins
Tier 3:

Good talk and good luck
