Shooting Guard

Studs:

Jrue Holiday $9100  vs DAL – Dallas has struggled defending guards this year which puts Jrue in a great spot. The only thing I don’t like is the price. For that I won’t be prioritizing him, but in tourneys it may be worth a look since this price could keep his ownership down

Mid-range

Bradley Beal $8400 @ ATL – a must-play unless you are trying to be really contrarian. Now Bazemore is a decent defender, but it’s hard to think of ways that Beal doesn’t succeed in this spot, and for that reason I will be eating the chalk tonight

Demar Derozan $8900 @ LAL – I only mention this in case we get word of LMA sitting out. If that were to happen then Derozan should get all the work he can handle and is worth a look against the Lakers

Dennis Schroder $5800 @ BKN – Schroder has been getting his offense going more often than not in his recent games. He still has upside here and is fairly priced at $5800 for a matchup with the Nets.

Value:

Kent Bazemore $4400 vs WAS – Spot starting for Prince for a few games. He is a capable scorer and defender, so he has appeal with him being so cheap. He shoots a bit more than Prince, but so does Trae, so it will be interesting how the usage plays out in this one

Malik Beasley $3500 @ ORL – punt play that I won’t find myself getting to much. I’d rather pay up for Baze or go Rivers and save $100, but I mention Beasley because he has some upside as a possible GPP pivot

Kevin Huerter $3700 vs WAS – should get plenty of minutes, but isn’t ever that productive. Still, against this very bad Wizards team you never know what could happen

Alec Burks $4000 vs GSW – Cleveland waived Harrison so now Burks should soak up more blowout minutes in addition to his decent playing time of late. If he can get 25-30 minutes here he should easily reach value.
